What is hot extrusion process

Hot extrusion refers to all kinds of extrusion forming of metal at the hot forging temperature above the recrystallization temperature of rough metal. Hot extrusion technology is suitable for manufacturing stainless steel, special steel and various metal parts. The advantages of using hot extrusion process lie in good metal forming plasticity, good product quality, low tooling costs, good processing of low plasticity and hard to deform materials, and the ability to base complex sections.
